Yesterday, I watched the quarterfinals game between the San Beda Red Cubs and the Ateneo Blue Eaglets. Obviously, the game won by the Red Cubs because of their depth of quality players, most have played in the RP youth system. But there's one eaglet that caught my attention : Thirdy Ravena. Yes, Kiefer's younger brother. The question is who's better?
Kiefer's achievement as a High School superstar may not be duplicated by his younger brother. Kiefer got back ups during his high school (juniors) years like Paolo Romero and Von Pessumal. Thirdy has none. And I would like to think that Thirdy won't be winning a UAAP Juniors Championship given the quality of teammates he has. Both of them won international awards, Kiefer in the SEA Games and Thirdy in the FIBA -ASIA 3 on 3 Championships. Also, both of them wear jersey number 15.
Well, its a tough call. I guess lets just wait for another year before Thirdy joins his brother Kiefer in the UAAP. Then we'll see who's better. JMP
